Our Initiatives
Discover how we are making an impact across Portugal and beyond.
Helping Migrants Navigate Immigration
Moving to a new country is one of the most challenging experiences anyone can face — and the immigration process can feel overwhelming, especially for those without access to legal guidance. Through this initiative, FRESH provides pro bono legal assistance to migrants who need help with their immigration applications in Portugal.
Our team of experienced immigration lawyers volunteers their time and expertise to help individuals and families understand the process, prepare their documents, and submit their applications with confidence. We believe everyone deserves the chance to build a better future, regardless of their financial situation.
Supporting Kids in the Community Through Sports
We believe that healthy communities start with healthy children. That is why FRESH supports youth sports programmes that get kids active, teach them teamwork, and help them develop resilience — values that will serve them throughout their lives.
Our current focus is on rugby, a sport that brings together children from all backgrounds and teaches discipline, respect, and camaraderie. By sponsoring local rugby clubs and youth training sessions, we help ensure that every child has the opportunity to participate in sport, build friendships, and grow stronger — both physically and mentally.
Storm Relief for Portugal
When the recent storms struck Portugal, communities across the country were left dealing with devastating damage — destroyed homes, displaced families, and disrupted livelihoods. FRESH immediately stepped in to support those affected.
From organising fundraising efforts to providing direct assistance to affected individuals and families, our team has been working on the ground to help communities rebuild. We have also offered pro bono legal guidance to those navigating insurance claims and disaster-related legal matters, ensuring that people get the support they need during one of the most difficult times of their lives.
