Zeev Fisher is admitted as a lawyer in Portugal, the UK, Ireland and Israel and an IRS Enrolled Agent in the U.S. He is one of Europe's leading cross-border tax experts. He is the founder of Fresh Portugal, one of the largest expat legal advisories in Portugal focusing on expats. He is also an active member of CORE Angels Lisbon, a startup mentor in a number of incubators and one of the partners of LXL Ventures, a Golden Visa fund tailored for U.S. investors.
Partner & Head of Real Estate
Daniel is a Portuguese lawyer with 15 years of experience, spanning a number of practice areas - real estate, corporate law, estate planning and litigation. Daniel worked in multiple Portuguese law firms and also in-house for many years. He is the head of the real estate department but also supports other departments. He is also a master swimmer and a national vice-champion in the 50, 100 and 200 meters Backstroke (2023).

Luís is a tax and corporate lawyer with over 16 years of experience focused on national and international transactions. With a mixed background in Tier 1 law firms and in-house roles in the financial sector, Luís has accumulated an experience in tax, funds and corporate law that spans from corporate restructuring transactions to day-to-day investment fund compliance, with a plethora of tax knowledge in between. His legal background (Nova School of Law – Lisbon) is complemented by post-graduate courses in accounting (IDEFF – University of Lisbon), insurance and securities law (Instituto BBS - University of Coimbra) and the AESE Executive MBA (Lisbon).
Corporate Lawyer
João is a lawyer admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association since 2019. He has been practising law since 2017, first as a trainee lawyer and, from 2019 onwards, as a qualified lawyer. His experience covers several areas, including civil litigation, real estate law, corporate law and insurance law. He holds a Law degree from Nova School of Law and a Postgraduate Degree in Business Law from ISCTE – Lisbon University Institute. João currently works in the Corporate (Legal & Tax) Department.

With a higher education in Law and Business from two renowned Portuguese universities, Raquel is a tax lawyer at Fresh Portugal. She has several years of experience with Private Clients with a focus on tax planning and compliance, having begun her career at Ernst & Young (EY) and proceeded to work with some of the most reputable tax law firms in Portugal. She also brings to the Fresh team her expertise in tax filing and handling complex practical matters with the Tax Authorities.

Henrique's practice focuses on digital nomad, tax planning and crypto. He has a sound experience as international taxation lawyer for over 15 years working for renowned law firms like DLA PIPER and multinational companies such as BASF and SHELL. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of California, Berkeley Law, USA. Henrique also brings to the Fresh team his tax expertise acquired in his last work cycle in Portugal within the web3 and crypto community.
Head of Immigration
Manuella Sena leads our Immigration department with extensive expertise. She began her career in Brazil, where she gained valuable experience in contracts, corporate and compliance matters. Since relocating to Portugal in 2019, Manuella has specialized in Nationality and Immigration Law, successfully assisting numerous foreign families in relocating, investing, and starting new chapters in Portugal.
International Tax Advisor
With over 9 years of experience spanning work in the United States, India, Brazil and Portugal, Rebecca adds a further international dimension to Fresh. She focuses her practice on providing tailored tax consultations, crafting effective tax planning strategies, and is also dedicated to the tax return practice in Portugal, that had already aided over 500 expats since 2022.

Pedro is a specialized lawyer with a master's degree in tax law and with an accumulated experience of 6 years between works in Portugal and Brazil. In addition to his refined knowledge in the tax area, Pedro's previous experience in the public sector gives him a unique view of the legal aspects of taxation. Pedro's work at Fresh will be directly focused on the development and structuring of tax consulting strategies and administrative and tax litigation.

Based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Gail is a CPA with over 12 years of experience spanning public practice, corporate, and nonprofit tax. After graduating from Pennsylvania State University with a Master's in Accountancy, she began her career at CohnReznick LLP focusing on tax preparation for a variety of clients. She later moved on to advise on tax-efficient strategies and compliance for a high net-worth, multi-generational family and their foundation. More recently, she focused on serving international individual and corporate clients at a boutique U.S. public accounting firm. Gail believes that complex tax situations should never deter people from pursuing their goals, and she is excited to bring her experience to support Fresh Portugal's U.S. clients.
